Visa Requirements for Vietnam
Please be sure to check your visa requirements before you go.
You may need to obtain a visa in advance, depending on your nationality and the length of your stay.
Here are a few important details to consider:
-
E-Visa (Recommended): We highly recommend applying for an e-visa, as it allows for a smooth entry process. The e-visa is available for citizens of many countries, and you can apply online for a single-entry visa valid for up to 30 days. It's a convenient and reliable option, as you won't need to worry about the visa counters being closed at the airport. To apply on the official Government site, please click here.
-
Visa on Arrival: Travelers can also apply for a visa on arrival at Vietnam's international airports, including Da Nang Airport. However, please note that the visa counters may not always be open, and applying for an e-visa is often more straightforward and quicker.
-
Visa Exemptions: Citizens from certain countries can visit Vietnam for a short stay (usually 15–30 days) without a visa. Be sure to check if your country is on the visa-exempt list.
-
Consulate/Embassy Visas: If you need a more extended stay or are not eligible for a visa on arrival or e-visa, you must apply for a visa at a Vietnamese consulate or embassy before traveling.
Note: Please use the official websites to avoid scams or unofficial services. Also, be cautious of third-party websites offering visas, as they may charge additional fees or provide inaccurate information.
